' N troducing.... 'N SYNC (TOTP 97)

They're into travelling, making music and meeting people, which is handy cos at the moment 'N SYNC are whizzing all over the palce doing all that being-in-a-band stuff.

Tell us a bit about yourself: I'M 18, I was born in Laurel, Mississippi but I now live in Orlando with my mum and dad, a mile away from the other guys. I have a sister called Stacey who's 21. The guys call me Scoop cos when they ask me about our itinerary I always know !
Likes and dislikes: I love the beach. In fact I'm the biggest beach bum and have the legs to prove it - my hairs are bleached blond! But I like the more adventurous stuff like rock climbing and skydiving. I'm not into rap, people who pre-judge you or mushrooms!
Biggest musical influence: Garth Brooks [American country singer chappie]. I'm not really into country and western and I don't own a hat or boots but he's just a really interesting guy. His shows are wonderful.
Best thing about being in a band: Being on stage and performing. Seeing all those people and watching them enjoying and reacting to our music.
Have you ever been in love? I've had girlfriends but afterwards realised it wasn't love.
Who would you have a One 2 One with ? Probably William Shakespeare. i'd want to know if he really wrote that stuff and if he actually thought his writing was as great as it is.
 

Tell us a bit of yourself: My real name's Joshua Chasez and I'm 20 years old. I'm orginally from Washington DC but now I live in Orlando with two of the band.
Likes and dislikes: I'm into singing, dancing and writing music. I love the movies and anything that keeps me fit, especially in-line skating - we do it all the time. I really can't stand liars.
Biggest musical influence: I really like Sting and Seal, they're brilliant writers.
Best thing in being in a band: The friendship - having people around you so you're never lonely.
Have you ever been in love ? I was pretty close once but I was only 15 and so was she. Her name was Francy. She was a beautyful girl inside and out but it was only a teenage thing. We left each other because I had to move away. Aw, it was so sad.
Who would you have a One 2 One with ? Jesus Christ. It doesn't come any more huge thing than that.

Tell us a bit about yourself: I'm 20 years old and was born in Brooklyn, New York. I moved to Orlando six years ago with my parents and brother Steve who's 22. My sister Janine is 24 but lives on her own.
Likes and dislikes:  I love Superman memorabilia and collect the t-shirts, jewellery - anything and everything. I also love dancing and going to clubs. The thing I hate most of all is fake people, enough said. Oh, and apart from skating I'm useless at sports.
Biggest musiucal influence: My dad. He used to sing in a group called the Orions. They weren't famous but they were great. He listened to a lot of older, 50s music and that's what first influenced me.
Best thing about being in a band: The travel definetely. I love visiting different places, and Londo is just great. There's a real buzz about the city.
Have you ever been in love? I've had really strong feelings for a girl called Dinay, but it wasn't love. We went out for about four months at high school. she left to go to college and that was the end of it.
Who would you have a One 2 One with ? William Shakespeare - he was brilliant. I'd like to know what he was thinking about when he came up with the plays.

Tell us a bit about yourself:  I was born in 1981 which makes me 16 - the youngest ! I'm orginally from Memphis but right now I share a house with Chris , JC  and my mom in Orlando.
Likes and dislikes: I love basketball and whenever I have the chance I play like crazy. I'm also a bit of shopaholic, and collect North Carolina basketball gear. I hate snakes, fake people and my curly hair!
Biggest musical influence: Stevie wonder, he's incredible.
Best thing about being in a band: Being able to make music, meet people and travel.
Have you ever been in love? No, I've been infatuated and had a few crushes. I'm not waiting for it to happen but I won't run away from it when it does !
Who did you have a One 2 One with ? Michael Jordan, my idol and one of the biggest achievers. I'd start off by asking him why he quit basketball and well, we'd just carry on from there.

Tell us a bit of yourself: I'm Scottish, Irish, Indian, Spanish and erm, I think that's it. I was born in Pennsylvania but now I live in Orlando. I'm 25 and the eldest - and most hyper - member, I need lots of calming down!
Likes and dislikes: I like beaches and I live near one. I love writing and listening to music so I've invested in a laptop to make life easier. I have a really short attention span so things tent to bore me easily, which I hate.
Biggest musical influence: I'd have to say it was the rest of the band. I know how hard they work and their reasons for doing it, I just think they're incredible. Michael Jackson is my most famous influence though.
Best thing about being in a band: seeing my musical ideas come to life and meeting new people in new places.
Have you ever been in love? Oh yeah, I've fallen in love twice. The last time was with a girl called Catherine. It lasted three months and was my longest relationship.
Who would you have a One 2 One with ? Mozart. He was a genius. I'd like  to know how he thought and where he drew his inspiration from.
