August 26, 1998 was the best day of my
life. My 2 friends, Molly & Kim,
slept over and at 6 the next morning we
drovean hourand a half up to Boston
from Cape cod. We had only known
about the concert for about A week
because a friend of mine had heard about
it on the radio. It was going to
be at Macy's. If you spent $50 at
the store they would also give you a
pass to wait in line to get their autographs.
Only the first 300 people
though. So I called Kim right away
and her nextdoor neighbor, who she was
very close with, just happened to be the
manager of that same Macy's! He
was the one who was supposed to stay with
the guys and show them around
everywhere. So he said that he'd
give us the passes to meet them for free!
When we got to Boston there were
already thousands of people there. So we
found Kim's neighbor and he said "Are
you guys hungry?" and we said we were
too nervous to be hungry so he told us
to come with him. We thought he was
just going to get ur passes or something,
but he took us up to his office.
He opened the door and there were the
guys and their security guards
sitting on the couch eating pizza!
We didn't know what to do! They were
sonice and we sat an talked with them
for an hour and a half. Eventually I
got pretty comfortable talking to them
and I felt like I had known them
forever! So then it was time for
the concert so a security guard took the
three of us out into the crowd and stuck
us right in the front row! Every
one was looking at us like "Why do they
get to be in front?" So the
concert was awesome. JC leaned overand
sang to Kim. And Justin and Joey
were aving to us a few times. Then
afterwards we went to find Kim's
neighbor to thank him, and he stuck us
in the front of the line for the
autograph signing too! Everyone
was still giving us looks. The RCA camera
crew interviewed us, and you can see us
tons of times in their new video "
'N THE MIX". So when we got their autographs
they talked to us longer than
anyone and they all gave us hugs at the
end. It was SOOOOOOOO incredible.
I'll never forget tha day as long as I
live. I'm going to see them in Las
Vegas on New Years Eve, Boston and Providence
in March, and 3 shows in
Washington and Oregon in April.
These guys are so amazing!
