This interview was all written in German
for the magazine FANews, so I returned it as good I could into
english, but you still see these aren't Chris' real words, but
the sense of the whole statements are there .
You're the clown of
the band, but truly..can you be mature ?
Chris: Of course, but only if I have
to be. Actually I always have a good verse to comment anything. I
love to goof around, but sometimes my temperament overloads.
When the people around me are happy,
the athmosphere is better, much better.
Do you know Mary Poppins? There you
see it clear : Only the one who laughs, has a life.
Your always in front
of the scene, with your jokes.
Chris: I think it's
because of the way I grown up. I have all younger siblings
and my father
was gone away. So I
was the big brother, that was the focus of interest. When I was
11 years old I found my talent for acting and singing. I got a
play in in "Oliver" I'll never forget the feeling when
I first stood on stage. After that there was no turning back,
the stage was my
life.
How the Universal
Studios recognized you ?
Chris: I sang in chor at the college
in Orlando. My voice was very high and was anything different.
And that thing came to the Universal Studios. They wanted me for
the
Hollywood Hi-Tones. We did a
capellas, without music, the style of the 50ies.
That was a big challenge for me,
because each tone had to be perfect.
Is that also your
fave music in private ?
No, at home I listen
to more actual music, Punkrock from Green Day or Michael Jackson.
He is my big idol, an incredible perfectionist. I dream about to
meet him one day and chat with him about music.
Do you have a hobby
?
To watch comedy,
movies like "Happy Gilmore"- that was really cool, or
the tv show
Jerry Seinfeld. Too
I love action and speed, those are my fav words. I like to drive
in my car. And I'm a sport freak. I love skating around in
Orlando with my inline skates.
and.. do you use to
have a crush on beautyful girls ?
No I play as if they
would have a crush on me. To be true, I'm not the type of guy to
start flirts. i'm
still waiting for the real love.
